Join the organized 7 days bike trip from Freiburg to Taize in France. Or start organizing your own adventure towards Taize! Everyone can do something positive in the world. Get prepared for an exciting adventure with a deeper purpose.
We, young people from all over Europe, between the ages of 18 and 35, are planning sponsored tours to Taize. We will meet in Taize on 23.08.2026. With the sponsored tours we aim to draw attention to the current situation of world hunger.
The donations from the sponsored tours will go towards providing children and young people in the poorest regions of the world with a daily meal through Mary's Meals.

What is a sponsored tour?
A sponsored tour/adventure involves someone, or a group of people, taking on a challenging activity like biking, running or walking towards a specific destination to raise money for charity. Friends, family, and others can support these journeys and raise money for an important cause.
What is Taizé?
Taizé is an interdenominational Christian community which welcomes young adults from around the world, whether christian or not, bringing together cultures through the shared principles of peace, justice and hope. Taize unites people through singing, living communally and holding meaningful conversations.
What is Mary’s Meals?
Mary's Meals is the choosen organisation we will raise donations for. Mary’s Meals is a global charity that provides daily school meals to children in some of the world’s poorest communities, helping to break the cycle of hunger. Mary’s Meals provide free daily school meals for 2.4 million children worldwide.
